RETAIL CUSTOMERS:

PLEASE NOTE THESE TERMS FOR USING THE RETAIL STORE CODE: I understand these items are non returnable (either to A Finishing Touch or to your retail store) and I have confirmed with my school that the items I am ordering are approved items for my child to wear, or I am aware of my school's policy but I am ordering them for personal use only. If you are unsure of your plaid "number", please contact your store prior to ordering as no refunds will be given. I have read and agree to these terms.

WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS:

Ordering

Orders can be phoned in toll free at 866-955-5229 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.  Orders can be faxed toll free to 888-445-8919.  Online ordering is available once you have been set up with a wholesale account to include a User Name and Password.  Contact our office to assist you in creating this account.  We have the best turnaround time in the industry.  Consequently, if you place an order and it has gone into production, this order cannot be cancelled.

Special Orders

§  Ties:  Beginning in 2008, there will be a $50 setup charge for any new striped or logo design tie.  We are now being charged this fee by our vendor overseas and unfortunately, we cannot absorb this cost.  Please be as specific as possible when designating the colors you need when placing an order.  You will be provided with a sample before production of the order, and if there are further changes made, there will be an additional $50 charge for any changes.  Please keep in mind when ordering a new striped or logo tie that this project requires a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks to complete.  We have worked diligently at maintaining our “no minimum order” policy, but we are being levied by our vendor and must change our policy. Consequently, beginning in 2008 there will now be a minimum 24 piece requirement on each order.

§  Accessories:  On any custom print or lettering, please fax or email your specifications. 

Payment

All invoices are emailed unless you request otherwise. 

All new accounts are on prepayment – i.e., credit card or COD until an ordering history has been established. 

Accounts can be given Net 30 terms with an approved credit application at the discretion of the owner.  Beginning in 2008, there will be a 2% finance charge applied to all invoices that are overdue by more than 10 working days. 

Return Policy

If an error on our part is made on your order, we will make the necessary corrections.  Any merchandise you receive that is defective can also be returned as long as it has not been used.  Please notify us within 5 days from receipt of your order and we will determine whether to have you send the product back for us to correct, or if we will just send a new item and have you return the wrong item. Return authorizations must be issued for any return.


We cannot accept returns on any items that have been worn.  Unfortunately, clips and rubber bands cannot be guaranteed.  We use the highest quality available in rubber bands and most clips and rubber bands will break at some point in time depending on their usage. 

We stock a large variety of items and if you have ordered the wrong stocked item we can occasionally take those items back.  However, if you ordered customized items with specific ribbon or fabric made to your specifications and you are not satisfied with these items they are not returnable if the error was on your part.

All returned goods need to be shipped to A Finishing Touch, 7027 Belgold Drive, Suite F, Houston, TX  77066.

You will be credited for the shipping if the error was ours.

Shipping

We offer the service of drop shipping directly to your customers.  The Packing Slip and UPS label will read with your information, not ours. This is called shipping “blind”.  This is a great way for you to save freight charges for customers that have placed special orders and you want us to ship it directly to them.  We ship UPS and you are notified through email of the tracking number for every shipment.  If you prefer us to use your UPS account, we can do so.  We have a customary $2 handling charge applied to every shipment.  Please be advised that shipments are only insured up to $100.00 with UPS.  If you would like to increase the insured amount, please contact us for a quote.
